Triboelectric Generators Integrated with Printed Photopolymers: Surface Charge, Contact Mechanics and Environmental Drift
Segurola, Juan
Triboelectric generators convert repeated contact and separation into surface charge and electrical output, but the measured voltage and current depend on contact mechanics, surface chemistry, roughness, humidity and the electrical load. Printed photopolymers offer controlled geometry and texture, yet cure state and post-processing can change surface composition and dielectric properties. Qualification therefore requires electrical output to be linked to a defined mechanical contact cycle and environmental state. Surface charge density, force-displacement history, contact area, humidity, temperature and load resistance establish whether output is stable or driven by uncontrolled surface conditioning. The engineering result is a qualified material-pair and surface state, a contact-pressure and motion envelope, and a humidity, wear and environmental drift limit. ER-377.
