Membrane, Adsorptive and Hybrid Purification of Used Photopolymer Wash Solvents: Selectivity, Fouling and Quality Control

2026-10-10 · Report · Version 0.1

Wash solvents from vat-photopolymer workflows accumulate uncured resin, oligomers, pigments, particles and water while the solvent itself evaporates and changes composition. Recovery therefore requires selective removal of contaminants and evidence that the regenerated solvent remains fit for washing. This review defines a qualification framework for membrane, adsorptive and hybrid purification of used photopolymer wash solvents, using isopropanol as the principal example. It addresses contaminant loading, prefiltration, distillation or membrane separation, adsorption, fouling, solvent loss and reuse quality. ER-458.
