Automation of Washing, Drying and Post-Curing: Material State, Recipe Control, Transfer Timing and Release Evidence

Printed green parts retain uncured resin, solvent-sensitive surfaces and incomplete conversion. Wash effectiveness depends on solvent composition, contamination load, agitation, temperature, geometry and time. Residual solvent can change mass, dimensions, surface quality and post-cure response. Exposure time alone does not define post-cure. Automated post-processing should execute version- controlled recipes linked to material and part family. Qualification therefore depends on preserving the measured state, configuration and exception history needed to distinguish these mechanisms in production rather than relying on nominal recipe identity alone.
