Reversible Diels–Alder Photopolymer Networks: Adduct Identity, Thermal Windows, Print Stability and Rework

2026-09-28 · Report · Version 0.5

Diels-Alder adducts provide a thermally reversible covalent motif that can be embedded in photopolymer networks. Their utility depends on a usable separation between the temperature of printing/service and the temperature at which retro-Diels-Alder chemistry becomes appreciable. This review focuses on adduct identity, forward/reverse equilibrium, network mobility, print stability and evidence for repeated rework rather than one-time thermal softening.
