Packaging and Storage-Excursion Qualification for Photoresins: Container Material, Headspace Oxygen, Light Transmission and Excursion Disposition
Segurola, Juan
A photoresin does not stop evolving when it leaves the mixing vessel. The production package remains part of the material state because its polymer grade, wall, colour, closure, liner, gasket, headspace, gas transport, light transmission and thermal history can alter the liquid that later reaches the vat. ER-179 defines qualification of the exact packaged resin and storage-excursion disposition without prescribing one universal container, headspace, oxygen concentration, temperature limit or shelf-life correction factor.
